This Unicorn Cake is a confetti cake with pink buttercream frosting. It is frosted in Black chocolate buttercream and has white buttercream hair. The horn, ears, and eyes are white fondant painted with gold luster dust.

This red velvet cheesecake is the ultimate layer cake! It has three layers of red velvet cake, two layers of cheesecake, buttercream frosting, and candied cranberries on top! This cake is tall, dramatic, and vibrant. The red velvet cake is moist, melt in your mouth soft, with that light chocolatey buttermilk flavor. The cheesecake layers are smooth, rich, and creamy. Together, the layers make the perfect combination.
My son is still keeping track of his half birthdays, and wanted to celebrate turning 7 1/2 🙂 He requested a candy cake with all his favorite chocolate candy. It was really fun decorating with candy, and I loved seeing his face when he noticed his new favorite cookies and cream Hershey’s bar! This is a 6 inch cake with four layers of chocolate mud cake. It is so yummy and dense, almost like a fudgy brownie. The trick is that I put melted chocolate right in the cake batter! There are three kinds of fillings in this cake- raspberry, blackberry, and ganache. It is frosted with vanilla bean Swiss meringue buttercream and has a chocolate glaze drip.
I made this cake for my good friend Lynn on her birthday! This cake is a 4 layer chocolate mud cake with fresh raspberry buttercream. It is frosted with black ganache and decorated with 14 carat gold leaf, pink cyclamens, and a chocolate sail.
I have a passion fruit vine that has been growing like crazy lately! The flowers are a beautiful purple, and I love seeing them pop up! The vine is very long and the tendrils grab on to every plant they can find in my garden. Because of this, it is sometimes hard to see the flower. The flower lasts only one day, and usually pops up in the late morning. My son and I like to go outside at least once a day to hunt for passion fruit flowers, new passion fruit growing, or even large passion fruits that may have been hiding! I had more then the usual amount of passion fruit this week, so I decided to use some in this cake. It is so rewarding using home grown fruit in my baking! This cake has three layers. One is passion fruit and the other two are lemon. The vanilla bean Swiss meringue buttercream balances out the tanginess of the lemon curd filling. It is a winning combination!
My sister Wendy loves purple. When I made her this birthday cake, the first thing I envisioned was a giant bright purple sail on top of a purple cake. However, the purple luster dust that I ordered online was more of a dark purple. And the sail fell off the cake and broke in the car on the way to delivering the cake to her. Next time I will secure the sail better! This cake is 5 layers; 3 layers of chocolate mud cake, 2 layers of white chocolate mud cake, with blackberry ganache filling, and frosted with vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream.
